As active gardeners, far from being teetotalers, we love the process of combining our garden harvests and DIY cooking knowledge in our bartending!

We’ve been pioneering a concept of growing our own ingredients and using those to create DIY liqueurs and other ingredients that we can use to fashion our own cocktails.

This effort is not the “easy way” to craft cocktails, rather, it’s how we roll.

Our plan for this site is to put up various recipes and concoctions that we’ve come up with.  From designing our own unique cocktails to crafting unique ingredients, our plan is to document more of our efforts in this field.

The goal is not to exclusively use home grown ingredients, since we live in the subarctic and are limited in the types of things we can grow.  Rather, our efforts will focus on the DIY aspects of making our own.
